Robert Mondavi – Iconic Robert Mondavi is the Father of the Napa Valley

Directions from the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge

Picnic Lunch Options

There are no picnic tables at either of these wineries. However, you may want to try many of the fantastic restaurants in Yountville.

Domaine Chandon

Domain Chandon is a lovely way to spend a late or early afternoon in the Napa Valley. Domain Chandon is part of the famous Moet & Chandon producer in the Champagne region of France. We cannot call it Champagne here, just sparling wine. The wines are fantastic, and the tour is exciting. Sip and view the fabulous gardens.

Robert Mondavi Winery

From Domaine Chandon, get back on Highway 29 and head north for about 4 miles. As you enter Oakville, watch for the signs to the entrance to Robert Mondavi on the left.

Robert Mondavi is one of the busiest wineries in the Napa Valley. The winery attracts tourists from all over the world. Although started by the great, late Robert Mondavi, the winery is now in the hands of Constellation Brands. Go to Robert Mondavi for the historical significance of the Napa Valley. Be sure to view the To Kalon vineyards and find out why these vines are so revered.
