Santa Barbara Wine Country – Best Wineries
The Santa Barbara wine country is where wine lovers discover a versatile wine-growing area. Because of the movie Sideways, the area is most famous for Pinot Noir. Those Pinot Noir vines are close to the Pacific Ocean. Inland, the land is more conducive to Rhone varieties, both red and white wines. Los Olivos is at the center of Santa Barbara wine county, about 45 minutes from the city of Santa Barbara.
