Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma Valley – 1857

In the heart of the town of Sonoma in the Valley of the Moon is one of California’s oldest wineries, Buena Vista. It is nearby the Sonoma Plaza. Spend an entire day exploring the shops and restaurants around the Plaza and then taking in a tour and tasting at the newly refurbished Buena Vista Winery. The Boisset Family, of Burgundy fame, purchased Buena Vista in 2011. The original winery building and caves have been retrofitted and our now open to visitors. Go back in time and see how the winery operated in 1857. Bring along a picnic lunch from the Sonoma Cheese shop located in the Plaza. The Buena Vista Winery has a lovely picnic area.
