Healdsburg – Russian River Wine Country

We gave this title to this wine route area for two reasons: Many wine tourists can easily identify the wine country town of Healdsburg. The Russian River runs from the north in Mendocino County through many wine areas of Sonoma County. This wine region is vast and incudes three major wine AVAs: Alexander Valley, Dry Creek and the Russian River Valley. The entire area is in Sonoma County. We have a separate section for the Sonoma Valley area. It is an entirely different geographic area and thus needs to have its own set of wine trails.
