Lodging in the town of Hopland is slim. There are plenty of motels to the north in Ukiah or to the south in the very chic wine town of Healdsburg. Cloverdale also has several motels that are very comfortable. The Thacher Inn, one of the oldest hotels in Mendocino, recently went through a major remodel, and it is spectacular.
