September weather in Wine Country

September is sometimes referred to as the “Indian Summer” month. No fog greets the morning and all day sunshine is the norm. There can be some heat spike days when temperatures reach over 100 degrees but those are few. Temperatures are normally in the mid 80’s during the afternoons. Mornings and evenings are much cooler.
