Robert Mondavi Summer Concert Series

Music in the Napa Valley began Saturday evening with the first of the Robert Mondavi Summer Concert Series. This is the 45th year for this fantastic musical event. Once again the Preservation Jazz Hall Band led off the series on Saturday, June 28. All the concerts take place on Saturday evenings in the grassy area behind the Robert Mondavi Winery. The proceeds for this event are donated to art and musical endeavors in the Napa Valley. Festival de Sole

The Festival de Sole is a more recent activity started by Richard Walker and Barrett Wissman in 2006. The series runs from July 11 to July 20. The Festival de Sole activities take place at various venues in the Napa Valley. Proceeds from the series benefit the youth of the Napa Valley in art and music education.
