Wine Country Backroads West Dry Creek

We have many favorite backroads in wine country. The West Dry Creek Road is at the top of our list. It is very near Westside Road and begins at the entrance of the famous Madrona Manor Inn. Head off to Westside Road from Healdsburg and when you see the Madrona Manor Inn, turn to the right. West Dry Creek Road is a lovely backroad and a favorite of cyclists, runners, and walkers. It stretches for 11 miles ending at the Bella Vineyards and Wine Caves. Our favorite wineries on the West Dry Creek backroad are Hawley, Quivera, and Preston. Be sure to pack a picnic lunch because almost all the wineries along the way have absolutely stunning picnic areas. Our favorite is the Lambert Bridge winery. My only gripe is the wines at Lambert Bridge are priced at a rather high end compared to the other wineries along this backroad.
