Your Wine Country Trip to Carmel Valley
One of
the most popular vacation spots in the world is the Monterey
Bay. It’s a favorite destination spot for honeymoons,
anniversary celebrations, and forever-needed getaways.
There are many things to do here: The quaint shops of
Carmel-by-the-Sea, historic Cannery Row, the fabulous
Monterey Bay Aquarium, inviting white sand beaches, renowned
golf courses, fine dining and, yes, wine tasting.

Most of the wineries in the Carmel
Valley are located deep into the valley and the area
is not suitable for extensive auto traffic. Several
of these wineries have convenient tasting rooms located
near Carmel Valley Village, which is about 12 miles
from Highway 1 on Carmel Valley Road. There is only
one winery, the Chateau Julien, that has a combined
winery and tasting room available.
