Rosenblum Cellars
Rosenblum makes some of the best Zinfandels, Syrahs, and Petite Syrahs in California. Since you are in Sonoma County a good idea is to focus on the wines made from nearby vineyards such the Dry Creek Valley AVA or the Rockpile AVA. Make sure you take time to view the Andy Katz Photo Gallery. He has some stunning wine country photographs displayed in the Rosenblum tasting room.

Thumbprint Cellars
This is a boutique winery, about 2000 cases owned and operated by a husband-wife team. The focus is on red wines with just a small case production for each varietal produced.  The tasting room is very attractive and inviting.  This combination of good wines and a welcoming tasting room make for a must-stop on  your wine tasting excursion.

Seghesio Family Winery
Although about a half mile from the Plaza, Seghesio is worth a visit to taste some very fine Zinfandel wines and a delicious Pinot Grigio. Year after year, the Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel is considered to be one of the best wine values around. Seghesio also has a Bocce Ball court should you feel the urge to have some friendly competition while sipping wine.
